There is a tendency that a growing number of high school students are extending their knowledge in their spare time. By far, there have been two popular ways of teaching available: online teaching and face­to­face teaching. Personally speaking, I prefer the latter.

To begin with, despite the apparent convenience of online teaching, face­to­face teaching offers more chances for teachers to directly supervise the learning process of students, thus rendering effective­teaching. Besides, face­to­face teaching creates more possibilities of close interaction and feedback­gathering.  What's the most teachers can gather feedback to adjust their methods to make their teaching more effective in class. And this obviously is not within the capability of online teaching.

In a word, face­to­face teaching prevails for its comparatively high effectiveness based on constant supervision and interactions. Hopefully, many students can eventually enrich their knowledge through face­to­face teaching.
