2.C

3.A

【解析】根據下文“the sun was high, he was hot,太陽很高,他很熱”,可推知今天天氣不錯fine“晴朗的”;rainy“下雨的”;“grey”昏暗的;cold“寒冷的”。 故選A。

4.A

【解析】根據上文“the sun was high, he was hot,”可知天氣很熱,喬治想找個涼爽的地方休息一會兒。cool“涼爽的”;tidy“整潔的”;quiet“安靜的”;smooth“光滑的”.故選A。

5.B

6.B

【解析】第二段提到的是“One fine day in July, she sent George to the woods 七月份的一天,她帶喬治去樹林”。

7.D

【解析】根據第九段“his mother’s weak voice from her bedroom.

8.C

【解析】根據上文“he said to himself, “How much Mom would like these!” ate up“吃光,吃完”;gave away“贈送,泄露”;put back“將…

9.D

【解析】根據上文“Shall I save them for her?” said George, thinking how much they would refresh her,‘我應該給她留着草莓嗎?’ never“從不”;also“也”;hardly“幾乎不”;still“仍然”,根據語境可知喬治正在猶豫,故選D。

10.A

【解析】根據前後語境“said he at last and he them into two piles”中的“two piles”可推知喬治把這對草莓分成了兩小堆,divide…into意為“把……

11.B

【解析】由上文“But each pile looked so small that he put them together again. “I will keep them all for Mom 但每一對看起來都太少了,所以他又把兩隊小草莓合到一起,説要全部留着給媽媽”,可知,此處是説喬治把草莓蓋好,準備帶回家去。

14.A

15.B
