This_morning,__a_fire_drill_was_held_in_our_school. We were having a class when the fire alarm went off.  Immediately the teacher instructed us to leave the classroom one by one. Soon we found ourselves surrounded by smoke everywhere.  With our mouths covered with handkerchiefs, we ran downstairs hurriedly to the playground as planned. After the fire drill we came back to the classroom and made a review of the things to do at the critical moment.

Through this fire drill, I come to realize the importance of precautions against a disaster.  Not only should a school focus on students' academic performance, but it (also) should include such drill as part of its education, enhancing students' survival skills. On top of that, I owe the success of this fire drill to good teamwork and coordination. I firmly believe that what we have learned from this fire drill will be beneficial to us and well equip us to play a better role in the future.
