　　影片講述了雨夜，李曉的車陷進了荒野路上的水窪裏，冒雨走入附近一座破舊的寺廟，本想尋求幫助，可四下無人。在寺廟的祠堂裏，李曉遇到一個同樣來避雨的女孩，兩人發現了一本記錄捉鬼傳説的日記《*靈異錄》，開啟了一段*時期的人鬼往事……
　　一個神祕的老先生在茶館僱人去看宅院，可是宅子邪門得很，凡是去看守宅子的人都死於非命，怪異不已。一日兩個無名無姓號稱：浪不夠和臭不要臉的民間異士應了差事。待到午夜時分，突然出現一個女殭屍，二人奮力除鬼。原來二人乃是逍遙族人，專門斬妖除魔，覺得神祕的老先生這樁差事內有蹊蹺，於是來此行俠仗義.......
